Our pods are designed to be highly effective at reducing noise. They achieve a Speech Recognition Reduction Rating of Class A, with an average sound reduction of 30.9 decibels (dB), measured in the 6 Hz range from 125 to 8000 Hz. This demonstrates that our pods are sufficiently soundproof to provide a quiet and private space.

What are the key features of the SoundPods?

Our SoundPods come with all the necessary features you need, including 110 Voltelectrical systems for power. They are built without excessive "bells and whistles," focusing on essential functionality and value. For flexibility, our pods typically include wheels that can be engaged by hand-twisting stands to raise the unit, allowing you to move them around, then disengaged to rest on short metal legs to bear weight. You also have the option to include a door lock that only locks people out, not in, or choose not to install the lock portion at all.

How long does delivery take?

We operate on an inventory-based model, meaning we don't custom-make each pod, which allows for quicker delivery. Our primary inventory is spread across three warehouses: Edison, New Jersey; Joliet, Illinois; and La Mirada, California. Depending on your location and the specific model ordered, delivery can happen quite quickly. We would conservatively estimate to be about ten days. The reason is that we will be utilizing freight carrier, which typically takes a little longer than small parcel packages as we provide you with the best overall prices by giving a freight carrier the opportunity to build up sufficient load for the route to be economically viable.

Do the pods come pre-assembled, and how difficult is installation? Do I need an Electrician?

Our SoundPods, like most on the market, do not come pre-assembled. This is for practical reasons related to transportation and ensuring they can fit through standard office doors. Installation is designed to be straightforward and is not very difficult. It typically requires two people and takes approximately 2-3 hours, similar to assembling regular furniture. Each panel weighs about 70 pounds, so having two people makes handling them much easier. The electrical setup is also simple; you just plug it in, and no electrician is needed. If you have staff capable of handling general furniture installations, they should be able to build it with the instructions provided.
