Oregon Lamination laminating pouches are manufactured to achieve high clarity with the least defects and clear glossy finish protecting and enhancing colors. Our fresh adhesive may melt faster than others, which means potential faster running times or lower temperatures used and come with a money back performance guarantee. Heat activated adhesive becomes clear when heat and even pressure is applied. Compatible with all thermal pouch laminators capable of sealing 10 mil 11-1/2 x 17-1/2 inch laminate (metric 292mm x 445mm x 250 micron x 2 flaps adds 500 microns thickness to your card).
ALERT: Many pouch laminators on the market can seal up to only 5 mil pouches, so PLEASE make sure your laminator is capable of sealing 10 mil pouches prior to ordering. (If you don’t have your machine’s manual, a good reference is if your laminator has either a speed control OR a temperature control, it will likely seal 10 mil pouches). This is the thickest standard lamination pouch material available on the market and makes a paper card feel similar to a credit card.
Note: Industry standard specification for 10 mil laminating pouches is 10 mil on each flap for a total of 20 mil added to your paper sheet card. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns). The industry calls these pouches; however, are sealed on only one edge instead of three (more like a file folder than a pouch, but with a 3/32” flat folded spine).

Tips: When trying any brand for the 1st time, try running at a slightly lower temperature (or faster speed). If the results are cloudy, you can always run the sheet again at a higher temperature or slower speed, but you cannot fix heat blisters caused by running too hot. If trimming laminated sheets, wait 24 to 72 hours adhesive curing time for a professional cut edge.
